This is not my first read of the summer, but my most recent. I have read quite a few and have really, really enjoyed the time to read for pleasure! I've been reading so much young adult literature that I made myself go to the 2nd floor at my library, the "grown up" books, and choose one to read. I stumbled upon Agatha Christie and loved this book! It makes me see how she is the #1 mystery seller of all time. The main character is Miss Marple, a nosy old lady who has a lot of time on her hands. In the end she helps solve the crime. There are other Miss Marple mysteries and I just checked out two new ones today!

Too funny! Isn't it funny how even the term "grown up" books takes on a whole new meaning to us! :) Hey, are you team Jacob??? You are going to love Eclipse then... Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI will post a few blogs later on books I have read. I am like Brandee - enjoying the time to pleasure read. Grayson has been sleeping until 8, so I have been reading until 12 or 1. Of course I read until 1 last night, and he got up at 7 today! UGH! Okay - dumb question - how do I post an original blog with a picture when I do one for a book I have read. I am learning...promise! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd...once I ever finish the books on my list (if that is even possible) I will read this one, Brandee. I love Agatha Christie and haven't read mystery in a while.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how your options look as invited authors of the blog, so I'll leave that question to Brandee. :) I saw a bit of the Eclipse special the other night. I think it is amazing how different "Edward" is when he is not Edward!!! I'm still trying to get through Shiver... inching closer. Ugh!!!
ReplyDeleteFigured it out and will post a couple more soon.
