I thought this quote said it all! What a love story! Who has read Shiver now? I would love to chat and see what everyone thought. I couldn't put the book down, but I know Monica is struggling to finish it. I am dying to see Laury so I can get Linger from her. Brandee, is Linger a good sequel? Laury said she liked Shiver better. I loved how it alternated between Sam and Grace's point of view. One part of the book that really bothered me was how in the world could Grace's parents really have no clue what was going on in their daughter's life! I don't want to spoil the book by giving examples, so I will wait and make sure everyone has finished it! :)

  1. Still haven't finished it... I guess I'm definitely team Edward because I am just struggling with the wolf thing... really~ he can just sneak really fast into the hot car, hot house, hot candy store... and be on the painful verge of his final run as a human??? I'm feeling a lot cynical right now, but I'm still hopeful that it ends in a great, exciting, unexpected way that ignites my interests! Still hopeful! Oh, but Stacy, right~ like her parents aren't more perceptive. Really? How about the time that Grace had to go to the hospital. When "mom" brings them home, what~ she just brings him home with them? Hmmm...

  2. I loved Shiver too and really enjoyed Linger. It was different than Shiver and took a while to get used to the new characters, but it turned out SO great! The author, Maggie Stiefvater, is coming to the Blue Willow Book Store in Houston this July. Would you guys like to go? :)
